What a way to kick off the new year! The past two weeks have been nothing short of a challenge as we wrapped up two bathrooms in what might just be the quirkiest, most crooked house in Alnmouth. Imagine walls that bow, floors that slant, and ceilings that defy logic—it felt like working in an optical illusion!

Every step required creative problem-solving and a steady hand, but after countless adjustments, we’ve finally brought these bathrooms to life.

Next year? I might start with a straightforward new-build to ease into things before tackling another “unique” project like this one. Here’s to 2025—and fewer crooked surprises!

Here’s a cool fact about Alnmouth I didn’t know until recently: it’s home to the fourth-oldest 9-hole golf course in England. Just another bit of history hidden in this little coastal village.
