Firstly, forgive me. As soon as I finished this install, I completely switched off from work — both mentally and physically exhausted. I haven’t replied to emails or messages as quickly as I normally would, so apologies for the delays, especially to new enquiries that have come in.

This is the first year I’ve properly stepped back over the Christmas break. It’s not like me at all, but it was absolutely needed. The Christmas holidays fly by, and before you know it, it’s January and you’re straight back into it.

Less of me rambling anyway — here are the before and after photos of the installation completed just over a week ago. Our customer decided it was time to remove the bath and future-proof the bathroom, making it easier and safer to use when the time comes.

Thankfully, this was a nice, straightforward install with no major works or long shifts required — exactly what we needed for the final job of the year. Smooth from start to finish.

That said, it was also the most stressful bathroom of the year! We were working against a ticking clock, as Rob’s partner was due any day. Every morning was a mystery as to whether Rob would be turning up or becoming a dad again.

Luckily, we wrapped this one up on the Thursday instead of the Friday — because on Friday, Rob’s newborn decided it was time to make his arrival. Talk about timing!

So, huge congratulations to Rob & Charlotte on their second baby boy — and a big thanks for keeping him in until the job was finished.
